Senior year is all about taking ACTION! By this time, you have (hopefully) already evaluated your post-high school options and are now ready to do what you need to to make your dream a reality.

This coaching program will focus and coach each student on their step-by-step action plan, with a particular focus on deadlines and decision-making.

Ideally, coaching begins in the August before Senior year and extends through the full year. Given application deadlines, there is increased activity in the fall and early winter months. The total cost for the year (Aug - July) is $2,500. A student is welcome to start at any time (please refer to the PROGRAM RATES section below for enrollment instructions). This full program includes:

• Parent/Caregiver Introduction Session (1 hour): Overview of how we will work together, review of your planning to date, any unique circumstances, etc. These sessions are held over Zoom or locally in person.

• Monthly Student Coaching Sessions (1 hour/month and as needed): Zoom or locally in-person sessions to align on a monthly action plan. Monthly sessions are pre-scheduled and Cory is available as needed to advise if circumstances arise. In these monthly sessions, your student will receive advice and coaching on their:

  • Coursework: Confirm expected courses to take based on your school’s offerings. This may or may not be needed based on work previously completed or YNF’s Junior Journey Program.

  • Final testing consultation: Outline of preparation and resources for SAT and ACT; score review upon completion.

  • College evaluation and final list selection: Identification of school attributes, potential majors, associated costs, etc., and then final selection for application submission.

  • Personal essay content: Final review and edit of application essays.

  • Final school selection: Discussions with student and parent/caregiver to determine final school choices.

• College Visit Planning: Cory can help you plan for college visits with customized tour itineraries.

• ROTC & Gap Year Programs: For those interested in exploring these paths, Cory can provide and/or point you in the right direction to learn more.

• Parent/Caregiver Check-Ins (optional, as needed): Parents/caregivers will receive progress updates after each formal quarterly session. Cory is also available for ad hoc support, as needed.

PROGRAM RATES

Full Senior Year - $2,500 (select if the current month is Aug, Sept or Oct)

Partial Senior Year A - $2,000 (select if the current month is Nov or Dec)

Partial Senior Year B - $1,250 (select if the current month is Jan, Feb, or March)

Partial Senior Year C - $750 (select if the current month is April, May, or June)
