Overall, I would highly recommend Cory to anyone looking for a college consultant. He made the admission process much smoother and more pleasant for our family. His dedication, knowledge, and ability to connect with our son truly made a difference in the outcome.

He has a way of making the college process seem less stressful for our daughters. Cory knows the landscape and is great at guiding us parents and kids through it.

With Your Next Four, I help young adults navigate high school and successfully launch into their next four years… be it college, career, or a path of their own creation.

It’s My mission to empower teens (and their families/Caregivers) with the confidence, tools, and knowledge to create a life they love.

Cory McGann YNF Founder & Coach

Cory created YOUR NEXT FOUR in response to extended family and friend requests for help and in reaction to the ‘noise’ around the college planning process (scandals, general misinformation & un-needed stress).

Cory has worked with high school students since 2003 and is no stranger to the many decisions teens have in front of them during these years. Sourcing from his own experiences, both the good and bad, He is widely known for his humor, ability to tell it like it is, and helping teens get unstuck and move into action.

With an early career in technology sales, Cory also knows what it means to pivot in order to create a life you love. After getting into law school, Cory realized he may be going down a path that was not actually “his”. With this realization, he transitioned to campus life as a student activities director while pursuing his master’s degree in school counseling.

Cory now serves as a full-time School Counselor and Department Liaison for Ashland Public Schools in Ashland, MA. Cory is a member of the Massachusetts School Counselor Association (MASCA) and enjoys taking his family on college campus tours as part of their vacations, whenever possible. Cory holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in School Counseling from Providence College.
