Freshman year is all about creating a foundation for your success in high school. For the first time, things really count! Freshman year is the first opportunity students have to start creating the academic and extracurricular records that colleges use to evaluate admissions decisions. It’s your chance to create yourself, truly, for the first time.

Your Next Four coaching will help build excitement, reduce stress, and bring confidence to each student during this important foundation year.

Ideally, coaching begins the August before Freshman year and extends through the full year. The total cost for the year (Aug - July) is $300. A student is welcome to start at any time (please see PROGRAM RATES summary below for enrollment instructions). This full program includes:

• Parent/Caregiver & Student Intro Session (1 hour): Overview of how we will work together, review of your aspirations and any unique circumstances, etc. These sessions are held over Zoom or locally in person.

• Quarterly Student Coaching (~1-2 hours per quarter and as needed): Zoom or locally in-personal sessions to align on interests, aspirations, and quarterly action plan. A focus on study skills and orienting to high school will be key areas for coaching. Quarterly sessions are pre-scheduled and Cory is available as needed to advise if circumstances arise. In these quarterly sessions, your student will receive advice and coaching on their:

  • Four-year coursework: Review and plan the expected courses to take based on your school’s offerings.

  • Clubs, activities, sports, & summer experiences: Discussion and planning of interest areas for development, resume, and college application.

• Parent/Caregiver Check-Ins (optional, as needed): Parents/caregivers will receive progress updates after each formal quarterly session. Cory is also available for ad hoc support, as needed.

12 months - $300 (select if the current month is July - Sept)

9 months - $225 (select if the current month is Oct-Dec)

6 months - $150 (select if the current month is Jan - March)

3 months - $100 (select if the current month is April - June)
